A passion for the English language led me to a course in editing, never suspecting it would prepare me for the job of copy editing. Classes have let me see things in new ways, the ultimate intellectual experience, as I worked with students younger than my daughter.
It's so much fun copy editing a few days a week now that it's hard to believe I get paid for it. What an incredible result from three simple classes in journalism.
