To me, the VC Press means history. Do you want to know how people at VC were affected by the Depression? Go look in the archives. Anything important that has happened in the last 80 years is documented in the VC Press. It is the soul of the campus; it informs all students about what is happening and how it affects them. This was my first year on the staff, and I was looking forward to following in my father's footsteps to become an efficient journalist, learning from the same teacher he had. Alas, my genius has been strangled and my voice muffled by budget cuts. R.I.P., VC Press.
